Hundreds of Iraqi members hurled stones at the United States embassy in Baghdad for a second day on Wednesday, to protest against deadly US air strikes on armed group Kataib Hezbollah bases in Iraq and Syria. The security forces fired tear gas and stun grenades in a bid to drive the protesters away.
Yesterday, Trump accused Iran of orchestrating the violence at the US embassy and said Tehran would be held responsible.
Today, for the first time, Iranian leader Khamenei responded by saying that “the US cannot do a damn thing”.
In last two years, President Trump has put nearly 800-1000 sanctions on Iran. Two generations have lived under sanctions since 1979 revolution but continuing to exist happily.
