In undivided India, Abdul Rehman, a Pakistani music director and Indian music director Mohammed Zahur Khayyam worked together and composed playback music in Indian films in the name of “Sharma Ji-Verma Ji”
When Abdul Rehman (Verma Ji) decided to stay in Lahore then this duo was separated. Sharma Ji started composing music in his given name Khayyam in Bombay.
It shows that “Sharma Ji and Verma Ji” are two #influential castes in present Indian culture and were also #influential castes in Indian societies before the partition.
