President Tayyip Erdogan has inaugurated Turkey’s largest Camlica Mosque. Today, Erdogan and several world leaders prayed Friday Salah (Nemaz) in the Mosque.

The construction of the Mosque was started on Camlica Hill on Istanbul’s Asian side in 2013. It cost $100 million (700 crores) and will accommodate 63000 people for congregation. It was financed by public donations of million dollars and even small amount 10 Turkish lira.

It has one big Dome and six Minarets. Nano technology was used for golden inscription of Quranic verses on central Dome. Its Minbar for Friday Sermon (Khutba) of Imam has 48 stairs and even an elevator.

The Mosque has also a Conference Hall for 1,100 people, a huge Library and an Islamic Art Museum.
